A bedtime story that does the quiet work for you.
Made for your child by a therapist. You read it, they love it, and the hard stuff, feelings, big changes, gets a little easier on its own.

Your child can't always face a big feeling head on. But they'll meet it in a story, through a character, from a safe distance. That is the whole idea.
Two stories a week, written for your child.
Two bedtime stories a week, made for your child. Their age, the things they like, what's going on for them lately. They get a character and a world of their own, close enough to see themselves in, far enough to feel safe. Nothing to prepare, nothing to get right. You read it together.
Some evenings it starts a conversation. Some evenings they ask for tomorrow's chapter. Both count.
A story for them, and a note for you.
This one's a sample. Yours will have a character and a world made for your child.
"How was school?" "Fine."
They're not shutting you out. The question is too big for a tired five-year-old. A story shows them what a small, real answer sounds like, so sharing comes more easily.
- Sharing their day
- Starting school
- A new sibling
- Bedtime worries
- Friendship struggles
- Big feelings
Every story becomes part of the next one
One companion, one world, remembered from story to story.
Meet their companion
Chosen at the very first story. There every night after.
The world remembers
The lantern from chapter two returns in chapter eleven. Small details stay.
One year later
Fifty chapters in. One world they know by heart.
Written with care, for the moments that matter.
I'm Sia, a psychodynamic psychotherapist and a mother of two. In my work with parents I kept meeting the same quiet guilt: loving, attentive parents who felt they couldn't get a meaningful conversation started with their child, and decided that meant they were failing.
Maple Moon exists to bridge that gap. The story does the opening. The note hands you one good question. And little by little it becomes a ritual you both look forward to: a real conversation that feels like pleasure, not a chore.
Sia
Every night is worth a good story.
The first story is free. After that, two a week, written for your child and sent at bedtime. Stay as long as it earns its place on the pillow.

Answered plainly.
How personalised are the stories, really?
Each story is written for your child specifically: their age sets the length and register, their interests colour the details, and the concern you chose shapes what the story quietly works on. Their companion and world stay with them from story to story.
How are the stories written?
Every story is built on research in child psychology, on a framework designed by a psychotherapist. Each one takes on a small piece of the concern you chose, and the way their companion meets it deepens over time, story by story, as the series unfolds. Stories are made to order for your child and held to the standard of a small literary press.
What ages does it suit?
Ages 3 to 10. Younger children get shorter, simpler stories to be read aloud. From about age 8 the stories are written so children can read them on their own, if bedtime reading has grown up too.
Can I change what the stories focus on?
Anytime. Choosing a new concern begins a fresh journey: a new companion, a new world, new stories. The old world is set aside rather than continued.
Can I add or remove a child?
Anytime. Changes to price and deliveries take effect at the end of your current billing period.
What if a story misses the mark?
Tell us. You can adjust what we know about your child anytime, and anything on your leave-out list never appears in any story. We read every message sent to hello@maplemoonpress.com.
Is my child's information safe?
Yes. What you share is used to write their stories and for nothing else. We never share or sell it, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.
How does billing and cancelling work?
Your subscription renews automatically, monthly or every six months depending on your plan. You can cancel anytime, with one click from any email or one message to us: stories keep arriving until the end of the period you've paid for, and nothing renews after that. Before every renewal we send a reminder email, so a new period never takes you by surprise.
Every story begins somewhere.
